Transfers from airport to hotel

  • Transfers are organised for arrivals on Wednesday 5th October based on your flight details provided.
  • There will be a person with a sign “LLPA SUMMIT” at the Arrivals Zone.
  • If your flight is delayed, please contact the guide Filipe Branco +351 967980759 upon your arrival to the airport. For any prior flight changes, please send the update to ines.vacas@training.rumos.pt and sofia.henriques@training.rumos.pt.
  • If you arrive before or after 5th October, we recommend using either airport taxi or Bolt/Uber.

Right in front of the Tagus River, you will find the hotel Vila Galé Ópera, located near the Lisbon Congress Center and the leisure area of Docas. In just a few minutes, you will reach the monumental area of Belém and the historic centre of the Portuguese capital.

Designed by the renowned Portuguese architect Manuel Salgado, and renovated in 2014, the decoration of this themed hotel set in Lisbon was inspired by opera and classical music. Featuring modern decor, many of its rooms offer an unparalleled view of the Tagus River, an icon of the city.

The hotel offers free wi-fi access in all areas, as well as spaces for meetings and banquets, a spa with an indoor pool, gym, sauna, Turkish bath and massage rooms, a restaurant and a bar, where you may be enthralled by the live opera performances that take place twice a week.

Given its ideal location to visit one of the most touristic areas in Lisbon, within five minutes you may reach the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. Make sure you don’t leave without tasting the famous custard tarts of Belém (pastéis de Belém). In the evening you can also walk to two of the busiest restaurants and bars areas in the city: Docas and the Lx Factory.

Also, near the hotel, you have access to the train, tram and bus lines, which can take you to the downtown area Baixa-Chiado and the historic centre of Lisbon in only ten minutes.

OCTOBER 6, DAY 1 - Thursday

Wine Experience Tasting

BMAD, Berardo Museu Arte Deco is located in the heart of the city of Lisbon, in the former summer residence of the Marquêsde Abrantes, in Alcântara whose first home was the Paláciode Santos, currently the French Embassy in Lisbon.

In this space, you can admire several works from the Berardo Collection, which illustrate the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements, that complement painting, sculptures, drawing and jewelry.

The museum store will be the space where the tasting of 4 wines made available by the Bacalhôa Group, by Joe Berardo

The wine tasting also includes a visit to the Museum with a duration of 1-1,5 hours.

Páteo de Alfama is a show house, where we can breathe and feel the Portuguese traditions of dance and music as well as culinary traditions. All of them are reflected over the centuries as the hand-painted crockery, the nailed leather chairs, and the Minho embroideries present in the environment of the space. Fado is the popular song that best portrays the Portuguese soul, classified as a cultural heritage of humanity by Unesco.

The Fado/Folklore show will take place during dinner, in an exclusive format and with an estimated duration of 2-2,5 hours.

OCTOBER 7, DAY 2 - Friday

TukTukExperience (2h)

The TukTuk gathers the participants from the hotel. For 2 hours it will take a tour through the most emblematic monuments of Lisbon city while making stops so that participants can get out and take pictures. The TukTuks have capacity for 6 people each (15 tuks). The group will be divided into 2 routes depending on the number of tuktuks. All routes will pass through the same points of interest, the division is only to facilitate traffic and stops.

The tour ends at the Maxime hotel where the group will have dinner and watch a cabaret show. Here the group will be welcomed with a welcome drink and a post-show with an open bar where they can enjoy the rest of the night.

Bonus: At the reception for the tuktour, a cloth bag will be distributed with a bottle of water and one of the most famous cakes in Portugal – custard tart or pastel de nata. It will be delivered in individual packaging. This cake is the most authentic national business card.

The Ultimate Cabaret Dinner Experience

Maxime Cabaret Show is a stunning journey through the world of cabaret, burlesque, and circus, accompanied by a dinner of four surprising dishes. Different shows with resident and guest artists, among the most notable nationally and internationally, who place Maxime Restaurante Bar on the world tour of cabaret artists, in a glorious ode to the Vaudeville spirit.

Guests will be involved in a captivating show where musicians, dancers, comedians, magicians, mentalists, jugglers, and dragons, among other performing arts, take the stage A journey through time where the vintage past is revisited in a bold combination of flavours, music and lust.

OCTOBER 8, DAY 3 - Saturday

Pena National Palace

The Pena National Palace represents one of the main expressions of 19th century architectural Romanticism in the world, and the work of D. Fernando II, King Artist, is the first palace in this style in Europe.

The palace’s colorful tones open doors to the imagination of everyone who arrives there As if out of a fairy tale, this place makes all generations of those who pass by and are dazzled by it. In 2007 it was elected as one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal.

On the guided tour, each participant will have a headset connected to their guide’s microphone.

Bonus: Since participants have breakfast very early, and to get to know a little more about the traditional and conventual sweets of Sintra, it will be delivered a personalized cloth bag with two conventual sweets from the most famous for its history and antiquity. This conventual confectionery is packaged in individual boxes and does not require refrigeration.

Lunch at Central Palace Hotel Sintra

Located in the historic center of Sintra in front of the Royal Palace. The place where the Hotel Central stands today dates back to 1154 where we can see traces of the Knights Templar, and many stories, mysteries and legends of the time.

Its restaurant is modern and informal with a menu dedicated to Portuguese cuisine, offering a list of typical Portuguese wines to match any occasion. The group will stay in a single room where the buffet lunch will take place with round tables of 8 10 people. Buffet lunch includes 3 cold buffet options, 1 soup, 1 pasta, 1 fish dish, 1 meat dish, 2 desserts, coffee, drinks and wines.
